L. Ron Hubbard:

Founder of Scientology

         L. Ron Hubbard was the founder of Scientology. He has described his philosophy in more than 5,000 writings, including dozens of books, and in 3,000 tape-recorded lectures.

He dedicated his life to helping others lead better lives.

Those who regularly employ L. Ron Hubbard's teachings to improve themselves and help their fellows come from all walks of life. There are now over four thousand Churches, missions and field groups established on six continents.

Although celebrated as a writer, novelist and explorer, it was the 1950 publication of Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health that focused world attention on L. Ron Hubbard. That book provided the first workable approach to solving the problems of the mind, the first hope that something could be done about the causes of irrational behavior – war, crime and insanity. Dianetics is something that anyone can use to help improve himself and his fellows. Hence, when the book was released, Amherst College Political Science Professor, Dr. Frederick L. Schuman’s declaration in the New York Times: "History has become a race between Dianetics and catastrophe. Dianetics will win, if enough people are challenged in time to understand it." www.scientology-canberra.org.au/dmsmh.html

Mr. Hubbard, as the founder of Scientology, had to find out what stopped people studying. He found there were natural barriers and stops to study. He isolated these and his findings became extraordinary educational breakthroughs. Now entire schools are based around Mr. Hubbard's work. In Scientology a pass mark is 85% in any Scientology exam. This pass mark of 85% is not hard to maintain when one understands what are the barriers to study and how to overcome them.
